Vintage hand-embroidered mirrored Indian tribal yoke/blouse front from North India.
This yoke is intricately embroidered with floral and animal designs and still vibrant – in good condition.
Approximately 24″ length x 35″ width.
Made circa 1970s. Sourced from Gujarat, India.
Care instructions: Not machine washable. Spot-clean only.
Items may be visibly faded, distressed, typical of age, and consistent with most of the Indian textiles in stock, which distinguishes them from the newer, mass-produced textiles made for the tourism and import markets. Most items show some discoloration, wear, missing patches of embroidery or mirrors, and faint stains in some cases.
