A variety of metallic embellished sheer fabric pieces from India. Yard stick is shown for scale.
They are in mostly good condition except a few that are sort of an orange color are looking a bit worn-out. They would make a beautiful addition to a sewing project.
Made circa 1970s. Sourced from Gujarat, India.
Items may be visibly faded, distressed, typical of age, and consistent with most of the Indian wall hangings in stock, which distinguishes them from the newer, mass-produced textiles made for the tourism and import markets. Most items show some discoloration, wear, missing patches of embroidery or mirrors, and faint stains in some cases.
