A vintage hand-beaded wall hanging from Gujarat, India.
This exquisite wall hanging is intricately handcrafted with thousands of tiny glass beads in a traditional design featuring deities and animals. This piece was crafted circa 1970s-1980s. Hand-beaded on red cotton fabric.

Items may be visibly faded, distressed, typical of age, and consistent with most of the Indian wall hangings in stock, which distinguishes them from the newer, mass-produced textiles made for the tourism and import markets. Most items show some discoloration, wear, missing patches of embroidery or mirrors, and faint stains in some cases.
