A vintage hand-beaded wall hanging from Gujarat, India, featuring an appliqué border.
This exquisite wall hanging is intricately handcrafted with thousands of tiny glass beads in a traditional design. This piece was crafted circa 1970s-1980s. Hand-beaded on red cotton fabric.
There are missing mirrors, some spots on the item, and also it looks like one section of the trim has been patched.

Items may be visibly faded, distressed, typical of age, and consistent with most of the Indian wall hangings in stock, which distinguishes them from the newer, mass-produced textiles made for the tourism and import markets.
