Description
Vintage Indian Handmade Banjara Fabric Vest made from cotton fabric with rayon lining.
The vest is primarily red but also features pieces of blue and white fabric and the back of the vest has colorful stitching embellishments. Still in very nice condition.

Front of vest length: Approx. 24 inches.
Width: Approx. 22 inches across when the vest is laid flat and closed.
Sourced from Gujarat, India. Made circa 1980s.
Items may be visibly faded, distressed, typical of age, and consistent with most of the textiles in stock, which distinguishes them from the newer, mass-produced textiles made for the tourism and import markets. Most items show some discoloration, wear, missing patches of embroidery or mirrors, and faint stains in some cases.
