Large vintage Indian Sankhia. Made of 100% cotton and featuring floral embroidery designs and mirrors. The flags at the bottom have metallic embellishments.
Sankhia are handmade door hangings from the Kutch region of Gujarat, India. They are a type of toran, a traditional Indian door decoration that symbolizes welcome and prosperity.

Items may be visibly faded, distressed, typical of age, and consistent with most of the Indian textiles in stock, which distinguishes them from the newer, mass-produced textiles made for the tourism and import markets.
