Vintage Lisu Hill Tribe Northern Thailand Married Women’s Pompom Necklace from 1960s.

Items like this one were part of a Lisu woman’s traditional ensemble.
Each side measures around 16.75 inches.

Items may be visibly faded, distressed, typical of age, and consistent with most of the Indian textiles in stock, which distinguishes them from the newer, mass-produced textiles made for the tourism and import markets. Most items show some discoloration, wear, missing patches of embroidery or mirrors, and faint stains in some cases.
